Why a setup fee, and why monthly after that?
The setup fee covers real, hands-on work — getting your business type right, building your first team, and making sure your first few assignments come out exactly how you'd want them. It's a one-time cost, not a recurring one.
The monthly fee is what keeps your team running, keeps your knowledge base current, and keeps you supported as your business changes. Most customers find it costs less than a single hour of overtime pay — for a team that works every day.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your Billing settings — your plan stays active through the end of the period you already paid for.
Do I get charged the setup fee again if I upgrade?
No — the setup fee is a one-time charge the first time you subscribe, not charged again on plan changes.
What happens after my Crew is set up?
You keep using it — assigning work, reviewing drafts, growing your team as your business grows, all under your monthly plan.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contract on Starter or Growth. Enterprise plans can include custom terms if that's what your business needs.
